Other than for the exception noted below*, the following information must be reported to the NC State Board of Elections for each contribution:
- The name and complete mailing address of each contributor;
- The principal occupation of each contributor;
- The amount contributed; and
- The date each contribution was made.
Anonymous contributions are prohibited. Contributions may not be made in the name of another.
*The name, address or principal occupation of any individual who contributes $50 or less during an election to any single political committee or candidate are not required to be reported, but must be documented.
