Time to Toot Our Own Horn!

ACDP Marketing Commitee:

We can all feel the energy for change in Alamance County. There is plenty of energy in the ACDP marketing Committee too. The Marketing Committee has developed a plan that will be efficient and effective at promoting our great candidates and the ACDP itself.

With voter turnout in mind, we began with the easy things: our social media accounts and website. While we will continue to work to improve those things, we know that we have to do more to get the big voter turnout we need.

Voter turnout is everything.

The next tool we want to use are billboards. After a lot of thought the committee identified three locations that will help us reach communities that we’ve previously had a difficult time reaching . However we are going to need your help for this project.

Please use the Donate button to contribute to the billboards!

It will cost us about $6,500 to put the billboards up for the criticall two months before the election. Right now we have them “reserved” but we will need to have the funds secured by the end of April to move this improtant project forward. We need your help.

It’s time for everyone to know we are all proud to be Alamance Democrats!

Below you can see our 3 billboard designs

Please use the “Donate” button in the upper right hand corner of this page to contribute to the billboards.

Primary Election Results

First, a huge thank you to all our candidates who ran for the Alamance County Board of Commissioners. Running for any office is a tremendous amount of work and personal sacrifice. We had a great group to choose from and it wasn’t easy to choose! Each candidate brought a different and much needed voice to the conversation. Thank you all!

Congratulations to Kristen Powers, Bob Byrd and Dreama Caldwell. They all ran great campaigns. How nice it will be to have all three of them on the Alamance County Board of Commissioners after November 3!

The Alamance County voter turnout for the March 3 Primary was pretty good. We had about 30% turnout for all voters. As Democrats, we “over-performed” compared to our 2016 Democratic primary turnout. That’s good but we are going to have to do much, much better in November. Voter turnout is everything!

If you’d like a more detailed look at our voter turnout numbers you can check VoteTracker EQVanalytics or NC State Board of Elections
