The purpose of the LGBTQ Democrats of Alamance County is to work within the Alamance County Democratic Party, providing a strong voice and representation within the party structure; securing full equal rights for LGBTQ citizens through effective legislation and policies; electing pro-equality Democrats to office and encouraging LGBTQ persons to participate fully as Democrats at all levels of
policymaking and public service.
This organization shall work to influence and shape the polices and values of the North Carolina Democratic Party to ensure inclusivity, better equity and equality for the LGBTQ+ community.
We meet the third Monday of the month at 6:00 pm. We announce our meeting locations monthly on our our Facebook page.
